FAQ's
How do I use Catalyst Cream?
Apply a small amount to clean, dry skin over the desired area. Massage in until fully absorbed. For best results, use up to 3 times daily.
How much should I apply?
A pea- to dime-sized amount is usually sufficient for a single application to a localized area like a shoulder or knee. Start small — a little goes a long way.
Can I use it multiple times a day?
Yes. Catalyst Cream may be reapplied up to 3 times daily as needed, allowing time between applications.
Can I use Catalyst Cream with other topicals?
We do not recommend combining Catalyst Cream with other topical products. Because it contains DMSO, it may enhance the absorption of anything on your skin.
Is it safe during pregnancy or breastfeeding?
Catalyst Cream is not recommended for use during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Always consult your healthcare provider before using any new topical product.
What does it smell like?
Catalyst has a light herbal aroma, primarily from natural menthol and rosemary extract. We don’t use any synthetic fragrances.
Does it leave a greasy residue?
The tallow base is rich but absorbs well with massage, leaving a smooth, nourished feel — not greasy or sticky.
Can I use Catalyst Cream on my face?
No. Catalyst Cream is for body use only and should not be applied to the face or mucous membranes.
Is Catalyst Cream safe for children?
This product is formulated for adult use only. Keep out of reach of children.
Is Catalyst Cream FDA approved?
Catalyst Cream is a cosmetic product and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. It is not FDA approved as a drug.
Where is Catalyst Cream made?
Each batch is handcrafted in small quantities in Hawaii, with care and purpose behind every jar.
What makes Catalyst different?
Catalyst combines nutrient-dense ingredients like tallow, magnesium, arnica, MSM, and DMSO to support tissue comfort and recovery — naturally, effectively, and without synthetics.
